I only caught a quick glance of the highlights this morning, but did he intentionally trip Bowen early in the game?
Obviously I don't think it was suspension worthy, but if it was intentional I understand why Horry gave him the shot he did

It was intentional. That kind of stuff was going on all game long, and the Suns were allowed by the refs to cheap shot the Spurs several times during the game. That's what led to the chucking of Nash.

I don't get the focus on the foul. It was a good hard playoff foul. Nobody got hurt. Welcome to the big leagues.
It's the after the foul that will draw the suspensions if there are any.
It looked like the two got a little tangled up. Nash might have made an effort to knock Bowen to the floor, but it was probably only retaliation for getting kneed in the jewels.

At least Pop is backing Horry. They played a sound bite on 760 and Pop called it just an end of game foul and not excessive.

Had it occurred with Nash driving for a layup, then you'd be corrrect.
But since it happened in the waning seconds and was needlessly violent, Horry is an ass bag.
