Nash Flagrant on AJ?

This Horry hip check on Nash reminded me of something I almost forgot. Hearing some Suns fans up in arms about how classless Horry was to bounce 1st class Stevie out of bounds after the game was obviously over must not remember,

I think it was 1998? I believe it was also a playoff game. The names might have been Kidd, Nash, Cliff Robinson... with guys like Person, TD and DRob on the Spurs side.

I don't remember exactly, but that playoff game was also basically over, we were blowing them out and low and behold, out of frustration, Nash has to give an intentional foul but added some juice on it. Hmmmm? Throws AJ practically out of bounds and some 6 or 8 players all get clinching and AJ getting up on Nash's face. Nash might have been trying to impress Kidd and their young fiery coach Danny Ainge.

It's just interesting how it came around in SA again and this time Nash was the one not appreciating it.

Don't get me wrong, I don't support what Horry did, it just makes me laugh thinking about the irony.
