Robert Horry got suspended for 2 games for his HARD (not cheap, not dirty) foul on Steve Nash. He received a flagrant 2 and was ejected from the game.

Bruce Bowen cleared some room with his leg when Nash was all over him. He was called for a foul and later told Nash it was NOT intentional.

Bruce Bowen's weird clip of Amare's foot was reviewed by the league. While it looked strange, no one was hurt and it was not dirty.

Manu Ginobili went up for a ing layup and Amare Stoudamire was in the way. He got kneed in the nuts. BFD, it wasn't a foul on Manu and it wasn't dirty.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !! Spurs fans, (and you know who you are) if Robert Horry's late game foul was such a traumatic shot to the image of your team and you feel embarassed then just go the away. In fact, go root for the Suns. Do away with your shirts, flags, hats etc. Delete your Spurs desktop images and so forth.

I'm so sick of hearing about this bull . Once and for all, the Spurs don't control the league office. This is our team and we have Nothing to be embarassed about. Every player in the league knows the rules about leaving the bench. I have no apologies for anyone. I thought Nash played the foul up along with taking the shot.

If it makes you feel any better, the Spurs were picked by alot of people to win it all. So if, we are fortunate to get another Championship, I won't be shedding a tear about Phoenix's bad breaks or placing an asterisk by the 2007 trophy. I got no sympathy for the Suns.

We were victims of this mess too. I don't think anyone should have been suspended but I'm not going to cry like a little girl and I'm certainly not going to call a radio station or post an e-mail message on a Suns board making some whiny "I feel your pain" and "I'm ashamed" thread.

    that. GO SPURS !!

I couldn't have said it better!
Diaw and Stoudamire, along with every other player at the game knew the rule...
This is kind of cool I think, after all the years of hearing how soft the Spurs are, how did that shoulder feel Steve? Not to soft huh?

And all this "league biased towards the Spurs" is crap, there is no way the league, if they had a choice would put the Spurs in the finals over the Suns, so shut up with all that.

like whottt said.... people's high horses of late are only Shetlands.

No matter how the Spurs managed to win their games... The Suns would have managed to find ways of complaining about it.

I like being the Oakland Raiders.

I am willing to bet that Spurs' NBA garb sales will increase 100% because of our bad boy reputation.

I think resurrecting The Bruise Brothers is in order.

Just a note, Horry was suspended 1 game for his foul on Nash (which was rightfully called flagrant since it was unnecessarily hard, and he did lean into the hit). He was also suspended one game for sticking his forearm in Raja Bell's jaw.

Bull , Bell pushed his fist into Horry's face first. Bell needed to be suspended too.

Actually I bet the league is loving it. Horry's hip check Monday night probably bumped this game up 2-3 points in the ratings.

Are you sure Amare knew the rule? I'm quit positive it has been explained to him in the past, but somehow he just doesn't look like the brightest bulb in the package, so it may have slipped his mind.

Then to sit there and lie his ass off....."I was uh, just getting up to go check in for the last 18 seconds". Weak !

    Finally someone with some sanity.

There are three guys that brought this on. And none of them play for the Spurs or Suns.

Horry's shot to Nash was the culmination of what was a HORIFFIC job by Javie and his crew.

The last straw was a blatant clear out over the back push on Horry by Phoenix after the Manu layup MISS that landed him on his face. Again no call. Big Shot knew at this point that there would be no justice. Yea he took it upon himself to send a message. Maybe right maybe wrong. But only his teammates should judge him.

I myself agree with Tim. It's the PLAYOFFS!

This whole mess was created by the NBA. By overreacting to the play of teams like the Knicks and Heat they effectively castrated play in the NBA. So instead, we have these pussy teams running around getting their panties in a bunch everytime someone lays a hit on them. And please, like that was even that hard of a hit. I would love to see Oakley foul someone in the modern NBA. He hits the milkman harder than that.

I would have been perfectly happy if the league decided to suspend Bell and Horry one game each OR fined Horry, Diaw and Amare and Bell and suspended no one.

I totally agree!!!! Rob went wild west and got him some vigalante justice and ed the League in the process. I can see stern ting a brick when dumb and dumber left the bench. Rob just destroyed the plan which is also why he was suspended 2 games. to horry for standing up to the league and ty officiating.

the league wants this series to go 7. i hope the spurs man up and end it in 6...but they are going to play 5 against 8 in game 6.

I agree whole heartedly with the OP and i am quite sick of all the pitty party bull that spurs fans are trying to throw.

The OP reflects my sentiments about the entire ordeal exactly.

The spurs are not at fault here, they cannot controll the ing nba office.

    Exactly.

All the apologist Sun hugger threads from alleged Spurs fans have been disgusting. That team still has buttloads of talent and isn't about to roll over and die tonight. Spurs need to come out with intensity in game 5 and go to the rack down Kurt Thomas's throat every play and put another Suns big on the bench with foul trouble. This is the game for Ginobili to finally make an impact in these playoffs even if it's getting in foul trouble attacking the basket. Basketball is all about exploiting the other teams weakness, not apologizing for your strengths. That earlier thread suggesting that the Spurs sit Duncan tonight to prove that they are "classy" made me want to projectile hurl. Sack up Spurs fans. This is playoff basketball.

That doesn't make the fact that Horry was suspended one game for his actions on Bell bull .

I didn't see what Bell did, never caught a replay of it. So can't say anything about that. But Horry did in fact earn both games he was suspended. One for an obvious flagrant foul that was pretty dangerous to the other player, and one for effectively hitting someone above the shoulders.

If Bell hit Horry above the shoulders, that's an automatic suspension, so it would seem that no one saw it and no camera caught it if that's the case.

    THANK YOU!!!

I was so tired of all those other threads! Stuff happens in the playoffs. It's not like we have never experienced some type of crap before. Every road to the championship has had some luck involved. Whether it was bad luck or good luck there is some luck involved. I understand all the complaining and whining coming from the Suns but I am really surprised at all the negative posts coming from the Spurs fans.

So far this series the suns have shown when it comes to hard fouls - they don't like them. In the the event of a hard foul or non-call their coach has chucked mental fits. Stoudemire even after a 20 point win still found a way to cry. TheY have dished it out and talked it up, yet have played the victim card after every game. Spurs fans see and read enought of it , i guess a few soon start to beleive in it.

I'ts an unfortunate situation but not the Spurs fault. When your team has the lead, recieves a hard foul , the last thing you do is lose your cool. We've seen it too often with Manu. You just get up and play to win. The two suns players who got suspended for reacting stupidly stems from the at ude some of their players and coach have displayed through-out this series. Their victim mentality finally got the better of them.
