hmmmm...
My friend thought he saw nash kicked Bowen on that last 3 when he was falling out of bounds. Can anybody confirm and if it is true, can we call the league office?!?
hmmmm...
Now you're reaching, calm down. He fouled him. that was it.
No, every player and fan is allowed to kick, spit at or punch Bowen, he is a dirty player who likes to slide his foot under players when they are taking a jump shot to twist their ankles. He deserves every bad thing he gets.
Call the league office? Shut up.
Someone start a Nash is dirty thread
I saw the play, Bowen stuck out his leg to try to draw a foul for a 4 pt play

why in the are you turning into a Sun fan. Spurs dont' complain about like this. get over it.
Only Suns fans are total es. Let's not act like them.
And he almost did it, but there's probably close to zero chance they blow the whistle in that situation in Phoenix. Good thing he canned that shot because I'd be in a large group of people wondering why he was trying so hard to draw a foul rather than just taking the shot.
I got the impression this poster was being facetious. *shrug*
Your team licks balls, mouth. Keep that in mind before you trash a team that actually accomplishes something.
If anything, this video proves that Bowen's previous antics are no accident.
Any player who has the ability to concentrate on a jumper and still kick his leg out to draw a foul before he lands clearly has excellent control of his feet.
Yes he did. He swiped his feet against Bruce.
But Bruce was already set for that shot, and it went in. Nash had some bad plays in the end of the game, much like Timmy did in game 4.
Oh please. Then every jump shooter in the league is just as dirty as Bowen. Do you even watch basketball?
Agreed. , Reggie Miller made a career with that move.
Uh, no, every jump shooter in this league does not stick their leg out at a freaking 45 degree angle to try to draw a foul.
99.999% of shooters go straight up and down.
Some of the Bowen excuses you guys come up with are just comical. Anyone with eyes not tainted by black and silver can see what a dirty player is. Anyone.
But with Miller, it was the same motion everytime.
With Bowen, the feet only come out under jumpshooters when it's convenient. Say when he's lit up for 43 in 3 Q's by Vince Carter or when pummelled by 20 so he's upset and leg sweep's Stoudemire.
But to be fair....Bruce Bowen could run into a burning building, rescue 4 kids, 6 cats and an old lady, put the fire out and rebuild the building and you would still hate on him. I don't agree with everything he does and I don't agree with anyone blindly defending something or someone based solely on their fan preference but you are on the other side of the spectrum. You are going to hate on Bowen and the Spurs no matter what he or they do. Hating something or someone just because they are a Spur or Laker or Sun or whoever is just as bad as blindly defending someone just because they are a Spur or Laker or Sun.Some of the Bowen excuses you guys come up with are just comical. Anyone with eyes not tainted by black and silver can see what a dirty player is. Anyone.
That's ridiculous and completely untrue.
I'm sure in 1998 there was a Jazz fan saying the exact lines you did about "Hey, maybe Karl Malone was responsible for JFK, Global Warming, etc"
yet 99% of the NBA fan base outside of Utah knew Malone was just flat out dirty.

Do you think that Bill Simmons who is one of about 100 NBA analysts who think Bowen is clearly dirty would hate on Bruce if he rescured 4 kids?
It's just not even debate worth at this point.
Debating if Bowen is dirty is like asking "Is Tim Duncan good" or "Is Tony parker quick".
As a Laker fan, I am not a fan of either SA or PHO but definitely am a fan of good basketball and not of dirty play and flopping, which is way too prevalent in today's NBA.
We all know there are many NBA players who have perfected flopping, but the stuff Bowen does (undercutting shooters) is just wrong, wrong, and pathetic. Has nothing to do with what color jersey he wears. It's the actions that being are hated on and rightfully so, not the man. Truth be told, fans do not know the players off the court and are in no position to say who's a good guy and who's a bad guy.
But commit 10000 dirty acts on a bball court and it's absolutely fair game and a factual statement to say that person is simply a dirty player.
On that we agree.Truth be told, fans do not know the players off the court and are in no position to say who's a good guy and who's a bad guy.
Kill 'em with kindness, dude. We don't need that in this forum. I won't tell you to stop, but let our players do the trash talking on the court. I find you leave opponents fans' much more flabbergasted and speechless if you're gracious and decent to everyone, even the trolls.
i'm sorry every jump shooter must flail his off arm wildly to the side to establish that perfect form as his defender riles in pain and blood...
