Michael Finley - for taking $15M of Mark Cuban's money and still playing when Cuban's team is fishing
Beno Udrih - for not playing for an opponent

Robert Horry causes children to have nightmares

Bruce Bowen- two rings

Fab - on his way to his 1st
Tim Duncan - greatest 4 of all time, 3 rings
The Spurs aren't "hated" as much as their fanbase secretly wishes they were. The Bad Boy Pistons, the early 90's Knicks, even the Lakers with Shaq and Kobe were all more hated than the Spurs.
The reason why people are ho-hum about the Spurs is because they were the first team in a long time to not win back to back les in a very hierarchical league coupled with the fact that they won their first le the year after Jordan retired in a shortened season.
Starting in '87, you had the Lakers winning two straight, the Pistons two, the Bulls three, the Rockets two, the Bulls three......and then the Spurs*j/k followed by the Lakers with three more. All of these teams were well known nationally due to their winning at least two championships in a row and had extremely marketable players so there was a buzz about them that the Spurs simply have never had until this series. Jordan abdicating the throne also hurt the Spurs because of the perception that they didn't "earn" the championship the way the Pistons did from the Lakers or the Bulls did from the Pistons. The shortened season was just the * on the cake that the Spurs weren't really true champions. The Spurs have since then removed a lot of that perception, but not quite yet imo.
Frankly, there isn't much to hate about the Spurs other than their style of play, which is boring. I think one of the top reasons today that people dislike teams is because of the at ude of the fanbase, and the Spurs fanbase is by and large pretty cool imo from what I have seen so far at this forum. Certainly better than most others I have come across.
In the next round, the Spurs can play as "dirty" as they want b/c no one likes the Jazz anyway
No, the picture doesn't show up. It says Un-authorized referrer. Just post a link to the picture so we can see it.
The '99 championship was my favorite. Not my problem that Jordan retired. The Spurs couldn't get past Phoenix or Golden State while Jordan was around, so it didn't matter. I'd love to have seen the '99 team play Jordan. You play who's in front of you, and the Spurs beat everyone. Good enough for me.
For the newbies...
