Um, no. That's all Stern wants to see: classless Suns fans lobbing water bottles at his marquee players.

Wow - just judge all of us based on some huge s that probably moved from California and now have adopted the Suns because they're huge posers and have jumped on the bandwagon. I walked straight into SBC (back when it was SBC) sporting a bright orange Amare jersey (back when he wore 32) for Game 3 of the 2005 WCF and did not endure the most hospitable crowd in the world.

Immediately as I went up the escalator to the upper levels, the mariachi band stopped playing and I was promptly booed by about 250 Spurs fans walking around the food court area and "D-Rags" were shoved in my face. Then I was accosted, kicked all game long by the bag high schoolers behind me, then those same high schoolers proceeded to "accidentally" spill nacho cheese and popcorn in my hair. Then as I left among the cries of "sweep," someone almost sideswiped me in the parking lot because I had an AZ License plate.

But you know what? I loved every second of it and embraced the spirit of those fans. I wished that Suns fans would have shown the same spirit in the first 2 games of the series, but no, the crowd was probably full of the aforementioned "transplants." I think the best was when I kept destroying every Spurs fan in the HEB Fun Zone or whatever it is on that FT shooting thing - that really pissed some Spur fans off.

I think it's time you stop blowing the actions of a few fans out of proportion and stop being just a general . You're not Tim Duncan or Manu or Bruce Bowen and you never will be. You weren't in that situation with them and you certainly don't have to come on a message board to protect them. Just because you call them "Timmy" and "Tony" doesn't mean they're your "boys" and you have to stand up for them by perpetuating a story that didn't come from Craig Sager or TNT, but by word of mouth from a "friend of a friend who knew somebody at the game."

Funny how you're upset someone is judging a group of people, and within the same sentence you do it yourself.

I can't hate a lot of people that fled the high prices of LA, Sacramento, and San Francisco to invade our oasis in the desert and bump Phoenix up to #6 in the national "angriest drivers" poll?

(Although Sacto fans are too dedicated to become trendy and hop on to another team because they're the "hot" thing in town... probably just LA and SF s throwing bottles.)

I'm just saying that I've been there since 1983 and I know what the real fans were like in 90 when we beat the Lakers 4-1 to head to the WCF vs. the Blazers and what they were like the Finals run of 93... they cheered hard, knew the players, and would never pull stunts like throwing bottles.

It's not a stereotype when it's true and many of us natives have been wanting to throw the Cali migrants back over the state lines.

It might be the first game of the season. I know America is probably going to want the nice guy Suns to get back at the big bully Spurs the first chance they can get.

    Weather: Rain, snow, or sun
Whether: a phrase indicating a possibility

    I'm just sayin'.

Last time Spurs and Suns opened the season - 2003.

If any real Spurs fans can tell me who hit the game winner in that game, you get a gold star.

I'm sure we will open at Dallas, but Cuban will put off the hanging of the "Southweest Division Champions" banner until the next game.

If Don Nelson retires, the opener will be Mavs at Spurs.

If he stays with GS, it will be Suns at Spurs and then Mavs at Warriors.

Well-played. I will need to see your google log, though to verify this.

Best part is that it happened about 4 days before he was released by the team.

You should have been here for the Anthony Carter vs. Shane Heal debate.
