I can see it now opening intros with Quagmire.
They do a great job with the NFL, MLB and Nascar. Why has FOX never won a bid to host the NBA?
I'd think they do a better job than NBC of the 90's and a ing 10times better job than what ABC is currently ty out right now.
Keep games local on FSN like it is now and do weekend games during the season, once it begins and once it ends.
During the regular season national games during the week go on TNT ad the weekend national games as stated above go on FOX. And like FOX does with the NFL and how NBC used to do it, regional double (maybe triple) headers.

HGTV would be an upgrade from ABC.
Their coverage would be just as bad if not worse than what ABC has given us.
I cant stand that floating camera thing that ABC does...gawd that pisses me off when they go to that cam.
