Where did you get that information? I'm absolutely certain that the league's rules for assigning officials to games would preclude Javie from working consecutive games in San Antonio.
Gm7 here we come
only way Spurs win this is if the Spurs win BIG, so he couldn't screw the Spurs again

I doubt it is going to be salvatore since he reffed last night
heard this on another sport board
Don't believe everything you read.
It's not going to be Javie.
Usually I'm not a big fan of Bavetta, but he probably hates Joey Crawford more than anyone, so perhaps he'll be nice to Duncan.

Just wondering, why would Bavetta hate Crawford?
Yeah TimVP i was thinking the same thing...
Only person who unquestionably would have nothing against Duncan for the Crawford incident would be Bavetta...
Edit^^
Because he called him out in his Exit email and called him a sorry ass ref.
I could see that some aficianado might have seen, say, Bavetta in downtown San Antonio and said "There's that g.d. Javie again." It's funny how some fans who want to curse officials seem to think that Javie is at every game they've ever seen. The guy who used to sit next to me at AT&T Center had a habit of shouting "Come on Javie" after every single call that he thought was wrong. I finally broke down one night to tell him that the official who had made the call was actually Bavetta. He seemed surprised.
I'm not sure that Bavetta hates Crawford, but it was pretty clear in the aftermath of the mess with Timmy that Crawford doesn't hold Bavetta in very high regard.
FWD what is the name of the other Ref besides Salvatore and Nies that reffed last nights game?

Last night in Chicago, it was Salvatore, Nies, and Sean Corbin.
You guys have too much time on your hand s to be worrying about the officials!
LOL
I'd like to throw a heater high and inside on Steve Javie.
Joe Crawford wanted the ref union to make an age limit (59 years old). Bavetta, as you may have guessed, was against it. That's where the animosity started.
And then when Crawford was saying his supposed goodbyes, he called Bavetta a joke of an official.
So if any ref would be happy with Duncan, it'd be Bavetta.
It will be Javie.
And you guys will get hosed.
Thanks man.
I'm not a big fan of Bavetta at all, but I don't think we'll have to worry about him helping give the road team a better than 2:1 free throw advantage either.
Not Javie... like others already said he reffed game 4.
Heard on Dan Patrick that it is Bavetta!![]()
Bavetta looms!
yeah we need to have a 14+ pt lead with 3 minutes to go or we are gonna get ed.
Ohhh. I see now.
If Spurs take care of business, it won't matter.
