Several times this season Duncan should have had a triple double and barely missed it. It would have been cool to see him get that 10th block but good WIN!!!!!!!

TimVP has to penalize Vaughn a full letter for trying to take that charge and costing Timmy his tenth block.

I still don't understand why you can count a shot after a foul but not a blocked shot.

Duncan should have been given a tenth block on that play.

Triple-double may sound sexy, but 9 blocks is amazing...I'm sure nobody will miss that in the box score.

duncan might not have gotten that 10th pseudo-block w/out vaughn's blocking foul. It still should've counted.

Missed shots don't count on fouled shots either, though....it's really a win-win situation when you get fouled on your shot.

Vaughn should be cut for that alone.

The "And 1" continuation play is easy. It counts as a shot attempt and a free throw. If the ball does not go in, it is a foul, and consequently no shot attempt.

In the play in discussion, there was a foul and the ball did not get in --> there was no shot attempt --> there could be no block.

Duncan should have been given a tenth block on that play.
Unfortunately, the block was correctly not given to Duncan thanks to Vaughn.

Even Amare "STAT" Stoudemire was impressed with those 9 blocks. Considering half of those were probably on him

but 9 is just a block away for a triple-double..
