Oh my God. I can't even begin to complain about the commentary/ tiny bit of post game on ESPN. It sucks worse than thinking about a game 7.

Tafoya is such a . "Tim, I have to ask..." Um, no you don't. You know he's not going to give you a soundbite. You don't have to ask. We're all sick of the taint talk, and what do you think Tim is going to say, "Yeah, there's an asterisk next to the series."

As for Sager and Gray, I'm sure one is a goat-fiddler and the other a necrophiliac, and I think they were separated at birth. They are definitely Sith, not sure who's the lord (ie pitcher) and who's the apprentice (ie. catcher) though.

The best sideline commentators are EX-PLAYERS. They have a rapport with the players and don't ask suck-up questions, or unnecessary digs like Tafoya does. Just look at Chuck and the boys, they actually know what they're talking about.

Why? Because all three of the aforementioned wankers INSULT the people they interview by asking loaded questions.
After the game today, she insulted Tim by asking the "isn't it true that this series is tainted" question. She's a media- just like Sager and Gray. If any of them had integrity, they'd come up with decent questions, but because they care more about their own egos than the people they interview, they ask these loaded questions.
Also, notice how in most of these interviews the interviewer speaks more than the interviewee? These people are glamour- vampires!!! Good reporters ask simple, well-framed questions and let the subject answer. These people wouldn't know an interview if it hit them in the face.

What's great about Jim Gray is that if he'd been at the game he wouldn't have talked to Timmy he'd have made a beeline for one of the Suns. "Amare, are you disappointed in yourself for not knowing being able to stay on the bench? Do you feel you let your teammates down by not knowing the rules?"
I don't think Tafoya is that bad! I think she does a prety good job, plus she is hot!
I don't think the question Tafoya asked Tim was meant to be malicious, and I really don't see what valid argument anyone has for saying she is a bad commentator, other than she isn't an ex-player.
If Mic e hadn't asked about the series being tainted she would have been fired by ESPN.
Gray is a heartless bas , though his crazy questions always make me laugh at the awkward situation that results.

He used to work for Don King on Showtime fights, and he used to ask tough questions to boxers, and never flinched at all. That's why I was so surprised to see how shaken he was after the malice at the Palace. I just love how he completely submarined Rose. He gets a free pass from me for life for that.
My DVR stopped recording right after she asked him if the win was "tainted". I don't know how he responded.
It's ing bull that Tim (of ALL people) should have to answer such a stupid-ass question.
Mic e Tafoya interviewd Duncan and Duncan was Duncan quick to give praise and held back criticisms, cool and composed. He said that it wasn't tainted, a hard fought battle, and unfortunaley(sp) it had to happen.
If I was Duncan I would just walk out of the interview.
Thanks. Yeah, I think Tim should've just walked away. I don't know why I thought it was Suzy Colbert. I get all those dumbasses mixed up.
