I hope D'Antoni is eating his words now.
The Spurs are a team........not just individuals.....like all the award winners seem to be experiencing now.
Just goes to show you that ONE or TWO individuals does a championship make. You need ALL of your players to have a roll.
Denver thought AI and Melo could do it alone......Phoenix thought Amare and Nash could......Nope....they needed their other players to step up and they didnt.
The Spurs rely on all 5 of their players for wins.....

ugh you might wanna give the Nuggets more than 3 months together as a team b4 you put them along side the Suns.
The Nuggets 'team' isn't ready yet. Too young coming off the bench and not healthy.
Next year it will be different with a training camp and full season together. And just for the record, noone thought AI and Melo would be enough to go far by themselves, a team without a bench is 1st rd fodder as found out many times.
The only thing similar about the Nuggets and Suns is that they both have re ed coaches, who both happen to be former Spurs.
