No cure for cancer.
No creds for Shirley.
Most outstanding quality about his namby rant was the impotence level.
You go, Shirl!
Ha. He used to play in the NBA.
Yeah, for the Suns. Go figure.
Golly, another whine from someone connected (even tenuously) with the Suns. Surprise. Must be something in the D'Antoni water.
Where? Texas A&M?
It would of been funnier if he said aids
I would rather have cancer than read this guy's writing.![]()
This guy is actually very qualified to have opinions on cheerleading. At least he's not trying write about basketball.
*FORMER SUN* Dan Majerle said in a radio interview on FSR that Bruce Bowen wasn't all that dirty, and wouldn't have stood out in the 1990s. Majerle said the NBA now is just a lot softer. I trust his opinion seeing as he, you know, PLAYED, more than I do benchjockey Shirley's.
Rooting for the Spurs is like cheering for cancer?
I think that's the most ed up thing I've heard so far.
Talk about unprofessional.
If the Spurs are cancer, the Suns are herpes -- they flare up for brief periods (regular season) but disappear with relative ease (come playoff time).
Can we root for him to get cancer? I figure, if I already root for the Spurs, I might as well.
like cheering for a cure for cancer.
Cancer, yeah, funny stuff.
OMFG...... I'm still rolling on the floor![]()

Who's Paul Shirley?
(Please don't answer... it defeats the purpose of the question. Thanks.)
That would explain the Championship years pattern... Remmision and relapses..
Lets hope the league becomes inoperable soon.
He played a total of 18 games over his illustrious 3 year career. He is a great insider![]()
In todays world anybody who can type simple sentences gets to voice their opinion to a national audience. Journalism has died.

"Did someone say my name?"
This is bullsh1t.
My wife beat cancer two years ago and we actually just got home tonight from a local Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society.
I love a good hyperbole statement, but "cancer" should be taboo to use in jest, really.
