wow deep thoughts, you could say something to give substance to the statement such as, The jazz do not have a deep enough bench to outscore the spurs.

Everything I could say has been already said or shown. There's nothing else to add IMO.
No way the spurs sweep. I'll say spurs in 6 though.
Spurs are 0-8 all time in playoff games in Utah.
in the malone-stockton era, yes. which is probably the last time they made it this far. it won't be a sweep, but i don't think it'll go more than 6. maybe 5.
I tend to agree with that. I could see 5...but that could likely be a stretch.
There is no way in the Spurs sweep and you are crazy if you think so. We've got to make sure we win the first 2 games at home because playing in Utah is a . Spurs in 6.
Weak thread.
Game 1 hasn't even tipped off yet. I've seen Spurs fans looking ahead but this takes the cake.
Experience factor weighs heavily. It will be interesting to see if Jazz get it right during Spur's first home games. Sloan and his crew present a different rhythm and style, they'll keep pressuring the defense to keep up and will hack our big 3 for the full 48. Transition defense against the Suns was run the way Pop wanted it, and it was notched up when needed. Pair that with heat checks from perimeter and you'll see more pressure fall onto young Jazz shoulders. That you'll want to see in the 2nd and 4th periods. Finley will catch and shoot more, but he'll have less time to do so because he's become a focus in these playoffs. So RHorry will definitely have an opportunity to make a contribution.
You want to see Brent improve offensively. He can keep up with Jazz players and it's not a stretch to have him become an x factor before the half.
Then again, Pop is Pop and my little predictions and theories here can end up on the cutting room floor to be tossed away after an easy, lopsided victory (for Spurs!)
Are you kidding ? This is going to be a tough series. Utah is an excellent team. They have a great PF, a very good PG who will only get better and a very hard to match up with big man in Okur. He always seems to play well against us.
I'll just be happy to make it to the Finals. I don't care how many games it takes. And for what its worth, I'd like to see us play Cleveland in the Finals.. Now, that's a long shot for you.
LeBron has practically no help. Ilgaskas and that Brazilian dude...maybe.
Yeah, any stats from the Malone-Stockton era are out of context here. Since going 0-8 in SLC, all the Spurs have done is win 3 championships.
Now Utah being 0-18 in SA since 1999 is very much relevant since the same team is in place today for the Spurs.
Spurs in five. I dont think the Jazz win any here. We are good for one up there however.
Um, your avatar owns.........
Congrats to the Spurs team for a well-played series with the Suns.
I look forward to the Spurs-Jazz series, as well as the discussions on this board. Is it really 18-0 Spurs in games since 1999 between these two teams? Were all those games coached by Pop vs. Sloan?
Its a beautiful ass isn't it ? I knew I had to look at that on a daily basis so I made it my avatar. Just some random chick.
And you along with many others need to get back to reality.
The problem is that statement doesn't include any substance. We got a pretty solid bench.
Your bench sucks.
Harpring is a stud, Millsap is a beast, Giricek played great at the end of the year and against the Rockets (not so much against the Warriors for whatever reason), Brewer's played very little, but when he's been in he's looked good too. Our bench definitely does not suck. Not the best, but still pretty good.
Nice analysis, OP.
In the spirit of your brevity, I say it goes at least 6 games.
Harpring's gonna keel somebody. Litterally
