The AllStars would not want Pop to coach them...they would actually have to try to play defense with Pop on the bench.
That would be hilarious-Pop vs. Larry Brown in the all star game. Has a zone defense ever been used in an all star game before?

The more I think about it the better and better Pop vs. Brown sounds in the all star game. Right now the damn thing is just a 48 minute extension of the dunk contest. I can't remember if it was T-Mac or Carter who managed to toss the ball off the backboard to himself for a dunk. And I'm pretty sure that wasn't the first year it happened. The whole damn thing has become a joke to the point that I think a defensive struggle would be rather entertaining.
Duncan will probably come off the bench this year, People WILL vote for Amare Stoudemire as the starting PF for the west.

Look buddy..I love the Lakers and have watched the games so far this season...he's not playing well enough to garner a All-star spot...especially over Ak-47, Marion or Zach. Maybe if he busts out, maybe...it's just not going to happen.
