Nov. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Pakistan successfully test fired a short-range ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, as part of series of planned tests, the army said.

The surface-to-surface Hatf-III missile of the Ghaznavi series has a maximum range of 290 kilometers (181 miles), the military said today in a statement in capital, Islamabad. Pakistan had informed its neighboring countries, including India, about the test, the army said
