but you're correct...their smack does ring hollow at this point.
It's funny to go back and read the old threads when the Mavs and Suns were flying high and the Spurs were not considered a real threat.
The arrogance of "the Mavs and Suns are the future of the NBA and the Spurs are old and boring" is funny to read now.
Nobody even mentions Utah. The teams that are left all do it with good defense. I think it is a great final four and who cares if the ratings are lower. Good basketball fans appreciate team basketball. With the exception of LeBron, the teams that are left really don't have the super marketable player that sells millions of jerseys. That's OK with me....I like defense and good team basketball. Maybe the rest of the world will catch on someday.
