oh yea forgot Tim loves that bank and TP loves that tear drop.
Parker changed his shot
You wanna force Parker to take jump shots
Pop told Finley when your open shoot it
They moved Manu to the bench to give a spark, theyve done this multiple times in the past
Bruce Bowen gets in your head
all great stuff to hear, just gets really repe ive.
oh yea forgot Tim loves that bank and TP loves that tear drop.
I am enjoying the comentators today. They are better than they were SUnday.
Or maybe it's because I'm buzzed tonight, and Sunday I was with a horrible, terrible hangover
This is a national telecast and is supposed to appeal to a national audience and not only the people that watch every Spurs game.
I bet you also complain when the Sporting News or some other national print publication makes a rehash team report and don't even understand why.
Jeff Van Gundy as a commentator = awesome.
agreed. love hearing commentating from ex players and coaches.
yeah, it's good for the national, NBA casual fans, though probably how many are actually watching are few and far between...
but it's good, because some might ask, "Why is that Ginobil guyi on the bench, he seems like a really good player to not be starting?"
I heart JVG.
Terrific commentator. Terrific coach.
Perhaps those are related?
Very true. When the camera is on him, he looks like he's sitting on a pine cone, but once the games on, he has some very smart and funny to say.![]()
Mark Jackson is saying the same stuff all the time, but JVG is a genius.
Before Manu starting going off on Phoenix late in the series a lot of the talk radio guys were saying "Manu is not comfortable coming off the bench. Hes a starter and he needs to play in that role to be effective." It got downright old since I knew it was crap. But I heard it again everyday.
...of course, they haven't said that in a while.
Marc Jackson is horrible.
That yearbook joke was hilarious.![]()
Kenny Smith last night noted it was just his minutes, and how in the last 3, or 4 games his minutes average increased.
Jeff Van Gundy is an excellent commentator. He's insightful at the same time as being entertaining. ESPN would be better off just letting Mike Breen and him call games, without Mark Jackson stumbling along with them.
But I fully expect ESPN to let him go to TNT next year.
Jeff Van Gundy as future Spurs Head Coach.
