Said he was found in the Euphrates River by Iraqi Police.
One of three U.S. soldiers that vanished after a May 12 assault on an outpost by insurgents linked to Al Qaeda was found dead, FOX News confirmed.
Iraqi police found the body of a man who was wearing what appeared to be a U.S. military uniform and had a tattoo on his left hand floating in the Euphrates River south of Baghdad on Wednesday morning, police said.
The man had been shot in the head and chest, Babil police Capt. Muthana Khalid said.
The discovery of the body in Musayyib, about 40 miles south of Baghdad in Babil Province, came as U.S. troops and Iraqi forces continued their massive search for three soldiers abducted May 12 in an ambush on their patrol near Mahmoudiya, about 20 miles south of Baghdad.
Khalid said the Iraqi police turned the body over the U.S. forces.

US forces are not confirming he was one of the missing. Or even
if he is American.
Body was that of Pfc. Joseph Anzack Jr.
I doubt they find any of them alive. I hope they do but I'm not counting on it.
