Duncan's health. Everything else would not have mattered if he was hurting like last season.
1. Dallas knocked out in round 1
2. Best offense in 4-5 years
3. Horry's foul on Nash and its aftermath
4. Duncan' health
5. Parker's jumper
6. three-point shooting
7. Spurs defense
8. Watered-down league
9. Homecourt advantage
10. Other?

Nick Van exel's absence
Number 1 by far
Horry "taking out" Nash with the help of Nash's own acting talent. It made the Spurs bloodthirsty predators. Of course, Bowen has laid all the groundwork. No more pussies.
I bet Nash is still dildoing himself over that little stunt.
Dallas getting knocked off. It changed the whole season.
Yup...it basically opened up the road to the NBA Finals for the Spurs.![]()
winner
although jacque vaughn isn't doing much better
Good thread....
Is Duncan's *HEALTH* really an event? Isn't that more like business as usual...
horry winning you guys a series from sitting at home
plantar fascitis, bad ankles, bad knee, van exel ...
I have to go with 1 and 3 as well.
1, 4, 5, 7
The defense is twice what it was last year.
personally, i go with duncan's health and horry's foul. i picked the suns to win that series, mostly because they should have been more tested and horry proved they weren't quite there. and duncan's health has really let him be a beast, i think. here's hoping it continues.
Almost everyone underrated how great San Antonio is all year long. Best team ever
playoffs aren't over yet, mofo
