My favorite time of year, Im loving every minute of it.
Many people put it up right after Thanksgiving. I think we are going to wait another week or so. When will you put yours up?
How about your lights outside? Our neighbors all put theirs up this weekend, so we are now officially behind.

Ruth wanted to do it this weekend, but we just didn't have the time. Of course, I'm the one who has to crawl back and forth through the attic dragging boxes... so I don't get into it as much as she does.
Mine is up, sitting naked in the middle of the den...we'll get some decorations on it eventually...

My wife had our tree up Thanksgiving night with the lights. I added the ornaments on friday. The house is all decorated.
Nothing until after my birthday and/or when my husband takes the stuff down from the garage attic. I probably won't do much decorating this year, though.
Got everything set up already...had the Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving, and got the lights up already just waiting on some extension cords to plug them in.
lights have been up all year.....just need to plug them in again..... :p

I know...but when we put it up this early, I get really tired of unclogging the vacuum of pine needles by the middle of December.
Always on my birthday....Dec 9th.
My parents started the decorations this weekend and will probably get the tree up this weekend.
Nothing here at my apartment since I'll be both here and home most of Christmas Break.

I am still pondering if I should put up my little xmas tree. I mean, I feel kinda gay being a single guy, living on his own having a xmas tree up. I dunno why, it just seems too, i dont know......I will prolly put it up this week sometime, maybe tomorrow....

Okay...it's not so naked anymore......a little birdie came over and my kids conned him into at least putting lights on the poor thing. The little birdie sure has a way with bulbs.
After putting those lights up I am now atleast semi-motivated to put lights on my house. Does anyone know a cheap place to buy lights? I have gone to Biglots/MacFrugals in the past and loaded up.
did the outside lights the day after Thanksgiving...I usually do the tree at the same time but didn't this year...going to Vegas this weekend so probably won't get the tree up till the following weekend...
and yes...its an artificial tree...but a really really good one...did the "real" tree thing for years but finally said "screw it" when the kids got too old to want to do the family tree decorating thing...I even leave the lights on the tree...nice to just unwrap, fluff, and plug in...
It's kind of a tradition enforced by my hubby.. lights and all went up on the day after Thanksgiving. I think this year we will be adding Frozone to the yard collection...
christmas trees, they are bull . i will put up a ing cactus, maybe hang some on the thorns.
Vegas during rodeo week. Good call CC. I've been there many times before during that time and it is one big party. One time , the flight attendant tried to sell us her rodeo tickets for $20 apiece. We declined but when we got there, we found out that tickets were going on the street for $200 each. Coulda used that extra cash to cover our losses. LOL
