Okay, but where is the appeal? Seriously.
I've found it interesting to read about other people. I'm sure it's not everyone's bag, but I find it pretty neat.
I think it has to do with basically being a window into somebody's lives.
For some reason, it cathartic (sp?) for me to talk to people that don't actually know me personally about things that are going on... seemingly as outside parties.
I've been meaning to start a blog on Livejournal (as I'm a reader of Manny's), but haven't got around to it.
To put this into historical perspective, it's as if the Internet has evolved into the late-sixties equivalent of the extended rock jam.
Whatever floats your boat man.
