I agree- the 2005 video was subpar compared to that of 2003.
The clinching fourth quarters are the most fun to watch. My personal favorite, aside from the le clinching game vs. New Jersey is watching the Lakers get pumbled on their home court.
In the time off between games I have watched these vidoes numerous times and can't get enough of the 2003 DVD that has each clinching quarter of each series. My favorite is the Conference Finals where Steve Kerr went off on the MavsOf all the videos I think the 2003 is the best one. What do you guys think?

I don't have those DVDs. I suppose I should go out and find them on eBay or Amazon, huh?
Oh, and if anybody has a Mavs 2006 Championship DVD as well...

The comebacks vs the Mavericks, the blowout of the Lakers, the tight 4th against Phoenix, and the clincher for the ring in the finals, were all fantastic quarters.
Yeah the '03 DVD is the best! I don't know why they didn't put the clinching 4th qtrs. on the '05 DVD, only the Finals one againts DET.

my fav is 1999. i watched and cheered for the spurs for sooooo long. it was a beautiful thing.
Their first le was the sweetest, IMHO.
To me, the 2005 finals were the greatest and everything else pales in comparison.

Yeah, I have a soft spot for the 2005 finals too, but the clincher game for the 2003 trophy was a badass game. One of my favorite Spurs games ever. I thought the 2005 DVD was weak as compared to 2003, especially cuz I stood in line for 2 hours at best buy to get Horry to sign it. Worth it I guess.
I hated the 2003 DVD. The narrator sucked, and it seemed like half the DVD was criticizing the Spurs. First, they talk about the embarrassment from the Lakers in 2001. Then, they go and win game 6 in Phoenix, and the line is "they showed a toughness they haven't always shown." Then they show Kobe going nuts in game 5. No shot of the Duncan to Robinson alley-oop that saved the game, no mention of how the Spurs held off a Laker rally after LA had cut it to 4 with like 3 or 4 minutes left. If you watch the DVD, it paints the picture of LA just running out of time or something. All they did was focus on the Spurs faults in that DVD, and it was garbage. The clinching quarters were nice if you don't have them already, but the DVD itself sucked horribly.
The 2005 DVD had far better narration and production. The '99 DVD is one of the best I've ever seen. The NBA made it's two best productions in recent memory in 99 with the Spurs DVD and in 00 with the Lakers one.
The Mavericks can't beat the Spurs in a 7-game series as evidenced by the 2003 championship DVD.

and considering that miami is a much more "hip" team than SA, they milked the out of that 2006 championship for the Heat
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if SA's 2007 dvd (assuming we win) contains nothing but a bunch of still photos
