maybe that would shut the up that tp hates passing manu the ball
I found a site that has a lot of quotes by Spurs players. It's updated frequently. I went on Manu's page, and saw Tony's quote about him...I was just wondering if anyone knows when Tony said this, like during 2005 or earlier...
“Playing with Manu, it’s like playing with my brother.”
—Teammate Tony Parker

I thought it was a pretty cool quote...Just wondering if anyone knows when it's from. Thanks.![]()

Dang Tony must have some real talented brothers
But...Does he like his brother?![]()
Just kidding Ducks!
I never get that whole Tony/Manu "feud" thing-it's stupid.
I have not heard this until recently. When did all this start about them maybe not liking eachother?
Still the guiding "Spurs quote":
“When nothing seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before.”
“He’s the kind of guy who wants the ball in pressure situations, and if he doesn’t get it, he looks over at the coach like, ‘Don’t you know I’m here?’”
—Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich

Dieu“What he does, when someone bodies him or puts an arm on his head, his head always flops. So then his hair goes wild, and it looks like someone just murdered him.”
—All-Star Ray Allen
"I WISH I KNEW HOW TO QUIT YOU!!!"
Sorry, but it had to be said.
“He puts his head down and he goes, and we pray for the best.”
—Spurs All-Star Tim Duncan

Is his brother going bald?
If they are brothers, isn't that like... incest??![]()

There is some serious man-love going on in those pics.
I think that any 'fueds' or chemistry issues would be very public by now and would have affected the way that they play. I don't think they are anything but good teammates and friends.
you know, french and latins, emotional people...
manu and tony are really good friends.......................for sure
but these pics seem disturbing to me......
i guess, parker is egoist with his brothers
I assume what SweetMelody was referring to is the feuding between fans of Manu and fans of Tony. I don't think anyone has ever thought there was an actual feud between the players or that they didn't like each other.
The only feud between them I know of:

It's an argentninian girl who goes on Parker forum to ask him why he didn't pass the ball to Manu.![]()
Anyone speak French that can translate what Tony said in his response? Just curious...
Yes, that is what I meant. Sorry if I didn't explain myself!![]()
The point is....There is nothing, which makes the bickering between fans stupid.

Clara (17 years old, Buenos Aires) : Hi, Im' argentinian and I follow Spurs since 2002. I'm fan of you and Manu. In Argentina, manu's fans make some negative comments about your way to play with Manu. You don't pass him the ball. What can you say about that ?
TP : It's false problem (laugh). As you can guess, if I really decided to ignore Manu, Pop would send me immediately on the bench. Spurs players play for the team. We have a common goal : winning the le. What would be my interest by not playing with Manu while he is a main player for the team ? It would be rediculous. My mission is to put EVERY player in the best situtation possible, knowing than Duncan is the first option on the offensive end. The ball goes often in the paint. If I see someone open outside (Finley, Gino, Barry ou Horry), I give him the ball.
Not an exact translation, but he starts by saying that Pop would send him to the bench if he were purposely not getting Manu involved. They work as a team and their one goal is to win an NBA championship. Manu is a major part of the team... why wouldn't he get him involved? It would be ridiculous for him to think that way. He tries to spread the floor, with Timmy as the #1 option in most scenarios. In most cases, he gets the ball in the basket. Otherwise, he looks for Finley, Gino, Barry or Horry.
ooops, sorry Bruno, guess we were doing that at the same time
