Yep, that's why during the regular season their opponents committed the least amount of fouls in the league, and before this game, the Jazz averaged more ft attempts than the Spurs . You shouldn't talk out of your ass, tlong.

tonight was pretty bad, I don't think I've ever seen the Spurs get more shady calls than tonight. but don't forget that Utah does foul a lot, especially around the rim. and when you foul that much, refs might just start to assume that when something looked ugly near the basket, it was a foul.

but still, pretty disgusting reffing out there tonight

    You are sad.

Did you actually watch the game? Did you see how many times and how hard the Jazz hammered the Spurs possession after possession after possession?

Fouling the out of them was their only chance to win.

You need to learn the rules before you comment. Not a very smart post, but then again, its you who posted this thread.

Sloan made the decision to play physical. As long as the refs are "letting them play" that strategy is going to make Utah compe ive. On a night when they are calling fouls, it's going to bite them in the ass.

They Jazz committed more fouls than any team in the NBA this year. Don't act surprised when they get some whistles in the post-season.

Pull up your pants. Your ignorance is showing.

3 times in these playoffs the Spurs have been -10 (or worse) at the free throw line AT HOME!

No other team in these playoffs can claim that.

Utah Jazz foul the most, Spurs foul the least. That's a fact. But you probably don't actually watch the games.

thats a useless stat, only half (or so) the teams in the playoffs have had more than 3 home games

Take him with a grain of salt. He's a Blazers fan. I live in Portland so I see tools like that all the time. Many Blazer fans are still bitter about the game 7 choke job by the Blazers in 2000.

Not that useless, when you consider that it's only happened 4 times in all other playoff games combined:

Phoenix @ Lakers, Cavs @ Wizards, Bulls @ Pistons (twice)

Yep I'm learning to accept the spurs get more calls. It's not fricken fair but according to the refs, the spurs never foul.

We're dead last of the teams remaining as far as FTs shot in the playoffs. Yep, we get ALL the calls. The refs consult us before the game about it even. Pop thought he needed a challenge before game 3, so he asked the refs to call some bull fouls on Duncan early.

Look, I know you're a superficial (and stupid) Mavs fan, so I'll clue you in one of the hidden strengths of our defense - Pop's system is not to jump at jump shooters. The guys get their hands up, but don't jump into the shooter, which on most teams contributes to a good 8-10 FT attempts per game. Take that away, and you get 1) less FTs shot by the opponent and 2) more lame ass whiny posts by fans such as yourself crying out that it's a conspiracy that the smallest market in the playoffs is getting taken care of by Stern and Co.

I'd have to do a little research, but I think the team had a negative free throw differential for the playoffs coming into tonight's game. That may be offset now.

But yeah, the Spurs never get called for fouls...

Yeah, we always get the calls on the other team, too. I mean, Parker getting knocked 120 degrees around and landing so hard and awkward that he does the splits is all part of his new drive to the hoop.

After tonight the Spurs are +0.64 in foul differential, which places them third of the four teams (Utah is slightly better, Detroit is first at +1.92). Only the Cadavers have a negative foul differential, -0.69.

Not the same as FT differential but the original complaint WAS that SA gets all the "calls" ...
