anyone know why only 500 are available for each game? i realize much more media/nba tickets are needed, but i remember actually having a chance at tickets in 03 and going to a couple games.

Scalpers get them all ahead of time. Total bull .
No they don't.
Season tickets, extra tickets by season ticket holders, media, corporate tickets, tickets held aside for Spurs/Opponent family/friends.
In the end, they'll release more than 500 - but it's not the scalpers that get them all.

really? nba/spurs condone that? i always wondered how they got so many but i didn't know they had some kind of agreement to get an allotment of tickets. thats totally unfair.

yea, i knew about the extras needed to accomodate those people....i just had no idea it was around 7,500 tickets
In 2005 they said they were releasing only 500 and they ended up releasing over 2000.

Yep, there's only about two grand already on sell online through various ticket brokers. I'm sure some of that is via season ticket holders, but give me a break.
One eighth of the capacity of the arena is already in the hands of ticket resellers.
Well there's over 11K season ticket holder and they all had the option to buy more tickets. It's not hard to figure out that the scalpers get them from season ticket holders.
