Cleveland blew golden opportunities in Detroit in Games 1 & 2 and now allowed Detroit to force another OT in Game 5.

You can't fool around with a team of Detroit's caliber.

Pass the ball one of these times, LeBron.

    Please.

I much rather face the Cavs than the Pistons.

GW you really want to play the Cavs? All the ex-Spur personnel and the King James FT parade?

    Yes, I do.

The Pistons are clutch and have big forwards to harass Duncan.

I will take my chances with Bowen blanketing James. The rest of the Cavs are not all that good.

Plus, I like the drama of Mike Brown vs. Pop (we saw what Nellie did to avery in the first round) and it's more exciting to see King James vs. the Spurs.

The superstar against the super team.

    Wow.

I am not a James fan, but I found myself getting pumped during his remarkable performance tonight.

From the 4th quarter on, it was a 1 on 5 and James prevailed.

    Amazing!

    "The Pistons are clutch"

not anymore, they couldn't hit their shots, their defense sucked, they're lucky this series isn't over already.

Ghost...have you seen what LeBron has done to us throughout his career...in particular the last 3 games?

    Bowen can't guard him.

I still don't think either team can beat us at the level we are playing at in 7 games. We can't guard LBJ but on the same hand, they can't guard Timmy, Tony, or Manu. Sheed is tough on Tim and Billups is tough for TP.

I think it's official that Flip Saunders is the worst coach in the NBA

Not only does he not double team Lebron at the end of the game, he puts Billups on Lebron

I think Flip and Mike Brown can tie for that... neither one will outcoach Pop.

I hear you, whott, but Bowen's backers tell me all the time that he can slow down the Kobes and LeBrons of the NBA.

But seriously, would you really want a repeat of the 2005 Finals with the Pistons seeking revenge? They match up way better than the Cavs do.

And the Spurs will not leave Bowen out to dry.

Plain and simple, Bowen is a better perimeter defender than anyone on the Pistons and the Spurs play better team defense than Detroit.

San Antonio will force someone else to make shots on the Cavs and they simply can't.

You saw tonight's game, right? Spurs would not allow that crap.

    P.S.

Billups hit a clutch shot late in the game and barely missed two others. You don't force a couple OTs by accident, pal. Don't kick dirt on Detroit yet. Cavs were in this position last year and choked.

If the Cavs beat the Pistons, I will be able to see my first Finals game ever in person. The Cavs are also my second favorite team next to the Spurs, so this would be almost like an early birthday present for me. However, I will still be pulling all the way for the Spurs to win it all.

The last time Spurs fans openly cheered for an upcoming opponent was in 1995. Spurs fans said there was no way this team could beat the Spurs.

About a week later, the Rockets had San Antonio crying.

Ghostwriter should be careful what he wishes for. It's LeBron's time now. Everybody knows it except San Antonio.

Anything pre-TD is a mute argument now. The Spurs are the '96 Bulls looking for 4 with the best team in the league.
