I click the 'Get Tickets' button exactly at 12 on ticketmaster, put in the request for 2 tickets and 5 seconds later theyre already sold out. ticketmaster and ticket brokers.

I got one for game 2 !!!! Sec 112 Row 12. OK it's not the greatest seat in the house but it's the friggin NBA Finals Baby!!

I kept trying, apparently someone must have timed out. Started at noon and just kept pinging away until I got in.

No, they don't.

They just have some tickets set aside for various things and if those things don't happen, then they release the tickets to the public.

I got a singleton upstairs for game one. I think they release them in dribs and drabs. I searched for singles and doubles for 3-4 minutes and hit one finally.

The exstatic mojo will be workin' in da House. I'm 2-0 in Finals Game Ones attended.

They will definitely release some on gameday, too. That's how I got tix in 2003 AND 2005. Start trying after 4 PM.

this would be due to only 500 tickets being available.

it's always so lovely of them to sell everything to season ticket holders and hold back tickets for the players families, etc.

Check especially the day of the game-- right at 8:00 and also in the afternoon. Your best bet always is to check for singles while everyone else is checking for pairs.
