I have always believed that if the Spurs were put on a fun reward system per FT (free breakfest tacos or something) = would improve. They often look to casual on their first shot (particularily Tim and Parker) and the strip cord the second.

They lost a Nash and "gained" a Dampier. Not really a mystery.

Hey, usually the Spurs are last or second to last. With 32 teams this year, there are like 7 behind them in FT %. Woo Hoo!

It helps when most of their FT attempts are being made by 80% (78-81%) FT shooters in Manu, Beno, Devin and Malik.

ex, Calvin Booth also contributed to the Dallas brickfest.

A lot of the Spurs problems could be fixed by having the guys consistently following through and leaning into their shots.

For example, last night Manu, Beno, and Tim all had FTs where they started falling back for some reason after releasing the ball. All the FTs clanged off the rim. Just a simple observation that seems to rear its ugly head pretty regularly when we miss.
