I was on NBA.com looking around and i saw the Finals MVP Poll, i think fans of "the king" are a little corn-fused. You have to win the le to be the Finals MVP......................59% are you serious?![]()
Who will win MVP of the 2007 NBA Finals?
LeBron James
59%
Tim Duncan
30%
Manu Ginobili
5%
Daniel Gibson
3%
Tony Parker
3%
Total Responses: 3905
Pretty fair ... why complain on that info .. LBJ > TD > Manu > TP in terms of marketing
HEY!!!!
CORN-fused?
What gives?![]()
LOL holy are they serious? Lebron can score 45 a game and Timmy can go for 21 and 12. If the Spurs win in 5 or 6 TD is MVP. Shows you how uneducated so many so called fans are out there.
If the Spurs win, Bruce is going to be the MVP of this series.
Unless you're Jerry West.
That poll sounds about right to me.

What. It's this simple...if the Cavs win, LeBron gets it. If the Spurs win, Timmy gets it. I don't see how you get the uneducated part?
Daniel Gibson got 3%>???
Because in every poll out there when asked the question who is winning this series? The Spurs are favored by quite a bit. This one is asking who the MVP will be and most are saying Lebron. Meaning there are clearly a number of dumbasses out there that think Lebron will win the award without winning the series.
Be afraid.........be very afraid.

I knew it (MVP from losing team) happened before:
link1969 -- Jerry West, Los Angeles
Averaged 30.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 7.5 assists in 18 playoff games as the Lakers lost to the Boston Celtics, 4-3. West has been the only NBA Finals MVP to play for a losing team.
If it happens they can compare Lebron to Jerry West, too. But West was also the first finals MVP, I am not old enough to remember but having the MVP coming from the losing team probably caused an uproar.
That's true actually. If LeBron gets shut down, then the Cavs are done.
LeBron vs. Duncan is a simple Spurs vs Cavs debate. Whomever is on the winning team is winning Finals MVP, period. So, how about this:
If Duncan and Lebron were not eligible to win, who else would take the MVP?
Parker or Ginobili
Gibson or Gooden
Horry or Big Z
etc.
Anyone?
I think the guy assigned to write poll questions is the equivalent of the guy assigned to the drive thru speaker at restaurants.
Thats what I said in another thread too. If Bowen can slow down LBJ then I am content to giving him the Finals MVP. Bowen needs some love. I changed my Manu wallpaper to a Bowen one for luck.
