    That sums it up.

But you won't change the minds of Cavs fans.

Hopefully we can just show them on the court the difference between opening night, some early Jan game and the NBA ******* FINALS!

I guess if Cleveland wins game 1 or game 2 that won't mean either?

Probably, but I would ask the Nuggets to make sure.

The first game game was also a road-home back to back after playing Dallas on the road the night before.

The second game. Vaughn and Elson were out due to injureis. Horry started and played heavy minutes. Finley only played 8 minutes and Bowen was still sucking from the corner.

Its pretty easy to double when Horry and Bowen are sucking from 3 point land for the seasons of fall and winter.

The Spurs went 11-5 in November, not 9-7

What you cannot ignore is that Cleveland held the Spurs to 16 and 14 assists in their regular season games. There were only a dozen games, or so, this season where the Spurs were held under 18 assists in a game. Dallas, PHX, and Utah were among those that did it more than once...as did the Cavs.

The first 2 games the Cavs lost to the Pistons in the ECF, they allowed an average of 24 assists. The final 4 games/Wins, the Cavs allowed 15, 16, 17 and 19 (16.75).

Don't sell the Cavs short with team defense like that...and a superstar like LeBron James

Well unfortunately until the Finals start all we have to go on is the history of the two teams.
History doesn't dictate what will happen in a series, but it helps to predict it. We might all be wrong and the Cavs will win in 4, showing the world they're the greatest team to walk the earth. Until then we'll just make our predictions based on what's already happend, rather than just keeping our fingers crossed and predicting winners based on who we like a whole bunch.

Historically for the Spurs, anything before March doesn't matter much.

Beno saw 11 minutes of court time in the 1st game, which was the 2nd game of the season.
