I was checking out the new Draft Athlete Profiles on DraftExpress.
Here is a database from 2000-07.
http://www.draftexpress.com/measurem...rt2=ASC&sort=8
Oden seems like a solid athlete in the agility area etc..His wingspan is 7'4 1/4", his height barefoot is 6'11".
Does anyone know what the team stats are for our main players -- barefoot and wingspans
My guesses....
Duncan 6-10 1/2" with wingspan of 7'3"?
Bowen 6-5 1/4" wingspan 6-10"?
Manu 6-4 3/4" wingspan 6-7" -- I think this was on his website
Finley 6-6 wingspan 6-9?
Parker 6-0 3/4" wingspan 6'2"?
Horry 6-9" wingspan of 7-1"?
Oberto 6-8 1/2" wingspan of 7-0"?
Anyone have any ideas on this? I find this interesting because a lot of guys on the Draft Express site who are listed as the same height on NBA.com are up to 1 or 1 1/2" difference in barefoot or even height with sneakers.
Desmond Mason is 6-6" barefoot, while Michael Redd is 6-4 3/4" barefoot. I have seen them both listed as 6-6" sometimes, but in terms of height and wingspan they are several inches apart. Understandable why Mason plays SF. Jason Richardson is 6' 4.75" but listed as 6-6", where some players an inch taller are also listed as 6'6" -- even if they they are 1 1/2" difference in barefoot height.
I have heard from Kori and timvp that Sjax was probably a legit 6-8" barefoot, is that true? Same with Hedo?
David seemed at least 1 1/2" taller than Duncan, what was his wingspan? His no step vertical -- running vertical? Anyone know Duncans?
Any ideas on these?

I think Parker's Closer to 5'11 I thought I remember draft day it said he was like 5'10 1/2 and those are official, could be remebering wrong though
Beno Udrih - 2004
6' 2.5" = barefoot
6'4 1/2" = wingspan
Romaine Sato - 2004
6' 2" = barefoot
6' 11" = wingspan
WOW! Sato has really long arms for his height.
Parker could of grown since Draft day.
I'm interested in all this as well. I think Duncan's wingspan will be a good 5/6 inches more than his height.
Those are pretty good guesses. Horry is closer to 6'8 with no shoes. Oberto's wingspan is probably around 6'9 or 6'10.
Yeah both of those guys are pretty damn tall.
David is probably an inch taller than Tim with about the same wingspan (between 7'3 and 7'4.5). David's verticals were both in the 30's, with not a big difference between his running and no step verticals. I'd have to guess on Duncan's vertical but I'd imagine it was probably high 20's when he was drafted.
Tony's taller than those numbers. The rest of it seems close. I have no idea about any of the verticals.
