If the Spurs have Lebron shooting fade aways all game long it'll be blowout central in the Spurs favor. If the Spurs keep up the D pressure on Lebron's drive and rotate on the passing lanes the Spurs should smoke them.
Just like in Game 5 against the Pistons, LeBomb made some contested, fall-away 3-pointers, with the shot clock winding down. He seems to be able to get that look any time he wants it. Heh.
I expect to see him go to it a lot more in this series. If he does, we'll also have a big surge in broom sales in SA. I was shocked when so many people started talking like he was the best player ever after that 48-point game, when he took so many of those terrible, terrible shots. The fact that they were falling meant nothing, except that he was in the zone. (And his point total benefitted a lot from the two overtime periods.)
I like our chances, when LeBomb has to resort to that shot. I'll pre-empt the Cavs fans and say that I'm sure it had nothing to do with Bowen. Heh.

The Spurs have totally taken him out of his game, with an assist from Mike Brown. You don't ignore your hoss at the start of the game. The Spurs usually try to find a way to get TD involved early in games. Get your star established early and force the other team to start changing the defenses they throw at you and pick your spots to get the supporting cast involved. This would've been a different game had the Cavs got James going early. Of course, Bowen desires a fair amount of credit for his D throughout the game on James (with ato Manu for his effort). But the Cavs made it way too easy for the Spurs.
If Mike Brown doesn't have his big men roll directly to the hoop in game two when their defender doubles LeBron, he should be fired on the spot. A layup or a dunk is a much higher percentage than a baseline jumper by their bigs.
james and gibson are their hopes
Mike Brown brought Hank Egan's defense to Cleveland. Unfortunately, he also brought Hank's offense. Thank God Pop managed to evolve.
The other big is rotating which makes the open pass all the way across court if the big dives to the basket. Besides, Z, Gooden, and floppy aren't great finishers. I agree it would make sense, but they wouldn't get much out if it if they do it.
