Tim's eyes and knees get beat up frequently, with double, triple teams. Almost not a game goes by without out Tim getting a knee bumped or an eye poked.
If he refuses to wear Kareem goggles, or Horace Grant/Beau Outlaw equivalents, why doesn't he at least wear Magic Johnson knee pads? At least on his problematic left knee?
He's tempting fate.

Dear white knuckles relax Rasho's got the middle better covered now - he actually dunked and is learning to shoot FTs. Plus Rose and Massenburg playing besides Horry rests Tim and injuries more likely when fatigued.

Given what you said, Tim still got poked once or twice in the eye last night. One of these pokes, it's gonna be ending up in the locker room, games missed, cornea scratched, whatever.
Tim's knees aren't vulnerable only to fatigue. Already in November, unfatigued and playing great, he had to sit down after getting his left knee knocked, two different games, IIRC.
( Klutzenberg sucks hind . He don't scare nobody. He ain't gonna help the Spurs this year. I was joking with timvp last night that Klutz was gonna foul out in the few garbage minutes he gets, and, boom boom boom boom boom, the spaz gets 5 fouls in 15 minutes, maintaining his 1-foul-per-3 minutes rate from previous game. What a ing joke. And I'm still waiting to see his "nice touch around around the basket" he's supposed to have. And he better not pull any of that "play me, I'm a tough banger" he pulled at SAC last playoffs)
