Sooo, all one needs to do to get away with murder in this stupid ing country is show some of the kinky things your husband is into, claim he beat you alot, shoot him in the face and the courts will fall to their knees in forgiveness.
What a crock of . Man, it pays to be a woman. "He beat me (unsubstantiated)." "He made me have unnatural sex (he "made" you put on a wig, darling, and I dont rmemeber seeing the police report for rape)"
Because she has 3 children, all is forgiven, I suppose.
The lesson here is, if you dont like your spouse, start making false accusations to the police that they abuse you. After about 3 police reports, shoot them in the head. You serve about 3 years in prison, and walk as free as the day you were born.

Emotion rather than logic and what actually happened plays a large role in the courts. If someone is on trial for murder, unless it was out of self defense, it shouldn't matter why - they murdered someone, plain and simple. Too many people take the insanity plea or claim abuse that it's practically absurd at how often it's used in court. Justice system my ass. This lady should be locked up for way longer than 3 years.

I cannot believe any court would give her those children back......but then again she got away with murder.
What's more messed up is that Andrea Yates woman that drowned her 5 kids one by one in their feces and vomit. She didn't even go to prison, rather they put her in a mental ins ution.

i could see that. imagine gasping for breath and being held down. i'd let go a turd or two. a little urine as well. she did 4 or 5 of them. man, i never thought of that until you brought it up. it was sad when i didn't realize that. i don't agree with what she did at all, but apparently she was pushed to doing it. allegedly. so she was a prude and he was a horn dog. i think "honey, i want a divorce" is a little more easier to take than a gunshot in the head while you're asleep. people always find an easy way out. just like that idiot that killed his 3 year old for insurance money the other day. the "me,me,me" era is alive a well.
It doesn't justify her actions, but it means that she wasn't mentally capable of recognizing that her actions were wrong.
Do you understand what being insane is? It means she was unable to appreciate the wrongfulness of her actions because of mental desease or defect. Now the question is, was there enough proof that she was, indeed, insane? That I'm not sure, but the court seemed to think so.
