I don't want to know how many Cars Tim and Manu get for those Gunn ADS.
A common knock-off on Duncan is that he doesn't have any commercials. Well, I decided to take a look for my self. Here's all the commercials of Duncan that I could find:

TD makes commercials but they're all local, he doesn't really makes national commercials like D-Wade or LeBron. You see him on Adidas commercials but he's rarely featured. The best was the American Express commercial from ... 2005 was it? That was classic.
The only people who really believe Tim Duncan doesn't do many endorsements are Spurs fans with a serious inferiority complex. What a pitiful use of a post! I mean, thanks for collecting all the great links of the greatest post player to play the game, but don't set up the straw man of...a common misconception. Whose misconception? Mars's misconception. Wake up dude! Duncan is a huge star with a mul ude of endorsement deals.

It's not that Duncan has no commercials, (obviously, you found them), it's that he doesn't get the big national exposure that LeBron or Wade or even Kobe get.
I think it's by Duncan's choice. He picks what he wants to do and I assume turns down plenty.
His "It Takes Five" solo ad is on adidas.com but I've never seen it run nationally. I asked here a while ago if it was run in SA locally and no one had seen it. I don't quite understand that. Duncan is the most decorated of the five players in that campaign, why would adidas not use it?
He's just not marketable by NBA and sneaker company standards. I think it's a crime. Duncan is the kind of player/man you would want kids to look up to.
Between his low key personality and his choice to not sell out he doesn't get the exposure. But most of the stuff he does do is great fun. I respect his choices and I think the league and the companies are missing out.
Maybe when he retires and the world realizes what he was they'll start running them!
I'll look at the links later. The only ones I recall seeing was one talking about how he came from a poor environment (Also T-Mac was in it), and the old ones with David Robinson ("You brought that [ ty shaving cream] in my house?")

I think Tim did a American Express commercial that was pretty funny also.
