spurs will not have another bad game where none of the big three shine again, the cavs dwindled away their oppurtunity to actually win one game
I think so.......I feel Cleveland will fold if the Spurs are close in the 4th or up a few buckets. JMHO![]()

I still say Cavs in 5.
Yea, the Spurs don't want to spend the weekend in Cleveland. Just get this puppy done tomorrow.
I sure as hope so.
I think so. I think the Cavs know what a hole they are in, and I can only see maybe "pride" will make them really try.
I believe if the Spurs make a run, go up double digits, Cavs will lay down the rest of the game.
But you still have that young man James, whom I believe has matured greatly this post season, and he may not permit his team to "lay down". Beyond all the hype, I think he has a lot of pride in what Cleveland has accomplished, and will probably do HIS best to keep it from being a sweep. Just not sure the rest of the team will follow suit.
game 4 will be the toughest, Cleveland will try everything to spare their pride. When was the last Finals sweep??
2001-02 LA over NJ
If we can have a good first quarter... the Cavs may just give up.
Give it up.....The fat lady is warming up in the green room.
At least the Cavs know what they are facing, even though a Suns fan doesn't see it.,
It might end tomorrow but I can't see the Cavs being swept in their own building. Although if is a close game in the end the Cavs might fold.
I remembered right after I typed it, but thanks.
I predicted 4-1 but now it will be a sweep. Cavs are mentally destroyed, the Spurs played one of their worst game of the season and still managed to win on their home court.
The Spurs' records in NBA Final closeout games?
1999: Five game series, 1-0
2003: Six game series, 1-0
2005: Seven game series, 1-1
2007: ?-game series, ?-?
Winning tomorrow night would give the Spurs a set of 4-, 5-, 6-, and 7-game Finals wins. Symmetry is good.

It won't be close tomorrow night.
The Big 3 won't all have off-nite at the same time. The crowd will not be a factor after the first 6 minutes.
Spurs will take control of this in the 2nd quarter and win by double digits.
Well then on to the parade in San Antonio. Tony Parker for MVP.
I thought Spurs in 6.
I'm beginning to think they could sweep, or at the most, take it in 5.
The Cavs aren't mentally strong enough to win more than game 4 at this point.
LeBron is great but he's been taken out and his supporting cast just can't match ours.
Brown has been embarrassingly (is that a word?) out coached.
We have the drive to close this out. We can't, and won't, give a young team any glimmer of hope. The Cavs will play out of their minds tomorrow. If we weather the storm of emotion and keep it close we'll grind them down in the fourth and end it.
I predicted 5 all along.
However . . . I'm torn now.
Spurs are really good, historically speaking, at winning close out games in the post season. They've let a couple go, but for the most part . . . they get it done. This year especially, they've gotten it done.
I think the only way I can see Cleveland winning is if they are up quite a few at the beginning of the fourth. If they are down by more than 10 with 6 minutes left, I see them folding (crowd goes out of it, energy depletes because they know that while they might win the game, the series is pretty much out of pocket, Brown decides to sit LeBron to prevent injuries).
The only way I can see them up going into the fourth is because of another horrible offensive performance combined with aggressively favorable calls to Cleveland. And while I don't believe that the league/Stern are currently sitting in a back room shaking hands on the best way to screw the Spurs and save the golden child embarrassment of being swept, I do believe that there are officials that would very happily insert themselves into the game early and often to provide the losing team every opportunity to win (particularly if they felt Cleveland got jobbed on that last shot). It's no secret that Tim Duncan in foul trouble hurts the remainder of his game and the defense. It's no secret that Bowen has done and amazing job on LeBron and removing him would make it easier for LeBron to take off.
I don't know what will happen, but I expect the Spurs will win.
If the refs have anyone to blame its themselves.
If you watched LeBron's post game interview, I thought he looked defeated. Some reporter asked him about being down 0-3, and he just kept talking about how big of a hole they were in. The look on his face and in his eyes was that of acceptance that its not his year.
I would not be suprised by a complete Spurs blowout. When the Cavs were down 0-2, they could fall back on the fact that they came back on Detroit and that all SA did was "hold serve" on the home court. They know its all but over now.
