Gilbert Arenas opts out of contract

Does anyone have any more news on this? It ran last week and he said he would opt out of his contract after next season with the Wizards. Would they be likely to trade him this summer? I can't imagine that would be a good P.R. situation in Washington, having your big star play a whole season knowing he doesn't want to be there.

Wizards are downplaying it, saying they expected it. I'm sure they'll give him a max deal...

I doubt its about not wanting to be there (sure, the team sux (and even then they were the second best team in record in the east for the majority of the season), but hes the first and second option on the team -- any team that gives him that plus alotta bucks is where je wants to be.)He wants the pay day.
