I like his hustle, I think he is a taller less skilled version of Manu in a way. However he is by far the most flopping SOF i have ever seen.
He makes Manu look like a first grader at the school's play.

He reminds me a little more of Mark Madsen than of Manu Ginobili....but to be sure, I'd have to see him dance. That Mark Madsen can boogie!

He was quite effective guarding Timmy, and he dives everytime someone gets within 5 inches.
    He brings effort though.

He's not "skilled" in any way, but he plays with a ton of heart and energy. I've ALWAYS liked him, even when we're playing against him. Sure, he's flopping too much of late, but somehow he's getting some calls, so....

He's one of those players like Malik or Oberto who LOVE playing basketball, and somehow make careers of it even though they have little "skill". On the opposite end of the spectrum, you have people like Allan Houston and Tim Thomas...guys with lots of skill, but no passion for the game.

I never understand the comparisons between Manu and Varejao. They both are from South America and they both flop. That's about as far as it goes.

He's a less talented version of Manu like Mark Madsen is a less talented version of Shaq in his prime.
