Who would have ever imagined Tony would be a Finals MVP that night we saw him come up and shake David Stern's hand after being picked, looking like a 15 year-old kid? Who could have ever seen this coming after that brutal 2001 sweep? What an incredible season and playoffs from the MVP, Tony mother ing Parker.

Yup, it's been great to warch the kid grow from potential to solid NBA player, to star to all-star and now Finals MVP. This is his year. Now he gets to marry that gorgeous fiance of his. Kudos, TP, you are a true Champion. (and I was sitting next to him during warmups in January!)

Thx lord that Kidd decided to follow his wife order and not coming to SA. I have always have the faith on Tony to come through as a champ, and he certainly doesn't dissappoint me. For you all Kidd bandwagoners in '03, this one is for U !

Tony was the obvious mvp because of Tim's 2 bad offensive games.
If Tim had played well in game 4, he would have deserved it more because of (1) his superior defense, (2) the way he spaces the floor and makes his teammates better and (3) his rebounding .
He averaged almost as many assists as Tony did + 11 rebounds a game and 18 points a game.
+ his defense.
But shooting 6 for 17 in game 3 and 4 for 15 in game 4 did him in and so Tony did deserve it.
