I'm as emotional as I was when the soccer team I'm fan off won the Libertadores Cup (LatAm's international championship played by local teams, not national teams).
I've only been a fan since 2002 (you guys figure that one out) but this team makes me ing proud and happy.
I'm obviously happy for Manu (3) and Oberto (1), but I'm also happy for Mike's first (and hopefully not last) championship, for Timmy, the guy who gives superstars a good name, TP, the MVP (well deserved), Bruce, the guy who never gets tired and again defended LeBron like no other NBA player can, Barry, another of my favorite players, Frisco . . . I'm even happy for Beno!
Next year I will be in SA to watch an NBA game. Hopefully, it will be a playoff game . . . even better if it's the finals.

These guys are a huge part of my life, and such a positive influence, and the way they gelled at just the right time after looking so ordinary in January is a credit to them all.
I've been to SA twice to watch games, in March-April 2003 and Jan 2007, and I will go to the Finals next year if we get there. make the trip, it is worth it!
Great post man. The Spurs are the only one of my favorite teams that actually can be called champions. I owe all my sports happiness to them
