OH man....I wish I was back in SA right now...I wish I wish I wish...
Want to celebrate another championship with the Spurs?
Go Four It!!!
Spurs partner with the City of San Antonio and Airport to bring Texas-sized welcome home to four-time NBA Champs
On Friday, June 15 at approximately 2 p.m., thousands of San Antonians will get a chance to personally thank the Spurs organization for yet another NBA championship season. Team members will be arriving at San Antonio International Airport at 1:50 p.m., with a 45 minute victory celebration scheduled to take place shortly after touchdown. Spurs fans will be asked to park at the Blossom Athletic Center located at 12002 Jones Maltsberger, with shuttle service to the airport beginning at 12:00 p.m. Fans will be driven to the Airport's Air Cargo East facilility off Wetmore road. Vehicles will not be allowed to park at or near the celebration site.
Once the victory celebration is complete, shuttle buses will be available to take guests back to their vehicle at Blossom Athletic Center. There is no charge for admission and the shuttle service is free as well.
Given the expected large number of attendees and the sensitivity surrounding airport security, there are a few items that we would like you to stress to your audience when alerting them to this event:
* Again, no vehicles will be allowed to park at or near the event site. All guests must park at the Blossom Athletic Center and take the shuttle service to the site.
* No alcoholic beverages will be permitted on the shuttle buses or at the event site
* Temperatures during the celebration are expected to reach the low 90's and the entire event will take place on a large concrete area. For this reason, guests are encouraged to bring the following:
o Sun screen
o Lawn chair
o Umbrella (personal size only)
o No glass containers will be allowed
o Bottled Water (Some water will be provided courtesy of the Spurs organization, however a personal supply in a cooler is still recommended)
OH man....I wish I was back in SA right now...I wish I wish I wish...
I wish going to SA Wasn't a such a trip. I'm just happy to have gone to the Road Game Party!
I wish I didn't live in Michigan and could be there...![]()
Folks, don't forget to use flightaware.com for accurate flight status for your returning NBA Champs the San Antonio Spurs. Enjoy yourselves and see you next year.
(playing Star-Spangled Banner and now a test pattern...Good night!!)
Please post pictures of welcome party for as non-americans.
According to that, it looks like they left an hour and a half late, so they won't be here until 3:30....unless that's not the right flight?

Yeah...they just said on the news that they won't be here until 3:30-3:45. So that's the right flight.

what about out of towners![]()
Anyone know if any of the local stations are covering it live? Some of us have to work and want to tape it.
I've had it on KSAT, and they've keep going back live there since about noon ... so I'm sure it'll be on that channel...although it doesn't say anything on the guide.![]()
Man I miss the days when all I had was my arena " work" and could run around and go to all these things.
Now I have a full planner and, even though the weekend is just starting, I am already dead tired. I'm getting old!![]()

Is on internet?
when harris and chancellor signed off last nite...they said they'd be at the airport when the team arrived...same with kast. so i'm sure all the locals will be broadcasting it live.
dont forget the plane left about 1 1/2 hours later than it was scheduled to.
Yeah, they left Cleveland at about 1:30 EDT and are scheduled to arrive at SAT at around 3:10 CDT.
They appear to be somewhere over Arkansas right now.
i thought it was very cool how the guys, to a man last night and Eva as well, kept saying "San Antonio...we're coming home!"
Fly there an make them for yourself and for me, you lazy Duck.
Do any of the local SA TV stations have live streaming video? I've checked KENS, KSAT, and WOAI but none of them have it. Anyone?
