Just saw the Spurs arrival on TV. Whats with all the empty folding chairs? Who were they for that didn't show up? Just wondering

not only that...but they wouldn't let people park on site...you had to park over at Blossom and they shuttled you over there.
sort of a hassle as opposed to '99 and '03.
I love the Spurs but its way too hot to be out there. Anyways the Spurs kept it short and sweet also. The parade and alamodome will be crazy though on Sunday!
The chairs were reserved for people on the flight (family & staff) ... guess they didn't use them, considering the guys only talked for less than 10 minutes.
If the Spurs had flown home last night, I can guarantee there would have been more wasted Spurs fans show up than hungover ones did today

A lot of people were stuck at work like me. As posted earlier, if it were last night, there would have been so many people there.

Those seats were also for the asshat VIP's like Janet Reno,Wolf, the mayor.etc.... they knew way before the plane landed they where not going to show up, but they still didn't let the hard core Spur fans have those seats. When will you all see the big picture? San Antonio isn't about you, it's about making $$

Don't know, but they were charging $2.00 to get on the bus that you had to take!
Im glad now that I didnt go to the Roasting of Spurs fans. People waited so long for just 10 minutes. I watched it at home with the A/C blasting.
i woulda gone after the downtown partying.....
