I say at Number one, he is proven and he does make it easy for others, and he has the rings to show it.

Well, he has to be top five because he has helped his team to three trophies. I don't know where in the top five. I am glad he is with the Spurs though.
I would say number one as well.
I want to put him at #1 after this Finals, but I can't. Still have to put Steve Nash there at the top.
And along with Parker, Baron Davis and Deron Williams are pretty amazing. Even old Jason Kidd can still put up startling numbers. Chris Paul I don't know enough about. Who else is there? I feel like I'm forgetting someone.
In any case, I put Parker in the top 5, and maybe the top 3.
Nash
Kidd
Parker
Williams
Davis
Why Kid I can see Nash, but Kid, come on.
i agree w/ this.
Point Guards Who Have Helped Their Team to an NBA le in the Last 10 years
1. Parker
2. Billups
3. DFish
4. White Chocolote
5. Payton
6. AJ
7. Ron Harper
^^ That's the list that matters to me.
Steve Nash is the best point guard.
I put Deron Williams second. People have slept on him because he plays in Utah.
Kidd I put third, but he's at the age where he will only be near the top for a couple more years.
Next I put Parker.
Baron Davis is brilliant when he's healthy, but...
Chris Paul is a better natural point guard than Parker, but isn't near the indomitable scorer.
Next comes Billups.
as duncan says I am glad tp is on my team
The guy averaged a triple double in the playoffs. Why Kid I can see Nash, but Kid, come on.
AVERAGED a TRIPLE DOUBLE.
I love tony parker, but if he could get to 8 assists a game let alone 10, i'd be damn happy.
For the Spurs, he might be the best fit. He's a scorer and a playmaker who doesn't need the ball that much to be effective. His passing is often questioned but he was second in the league in assists that lead to three-pointers. And defensively, he was pretty dominant in the playoffs.
Considering his Game 1 explosion and his defense on Barbosa all series, he might have been the MVP of the Suns series too.
steve nash is not all that
he had lots of help
some can say a more talented team then spurs
and could not get it done in postseason
Is DWade not a pg? I always thought he was
CP3 still better than Williams IMO.
Nash
Kidd
Davis
Parker
Paul
and his d?
and why could carter never get it going?
why could he not beat the one man team the cavs
everyone says cavs are a one man team but he could not with kidd and carter get the job done
Nash is hamstrung by having D'Antoni as a coach. Nash is one of the few Suns who is a gamer rather than a pussy.
williams can get it done in postseason and is healthy
can cp3? who knows most likely but who knows if he pulls a dirk
nash can get him fired
I want to see if Deron Williams ends up being more Deron Williams of the first two rounds of the playoffs or Deron Williams of the WCF. In the first two rounds, he averaged like 16.5 points and 8.5 assists on sub-40% shooting. Then against the Spurs, he exploded for 26 points, 8 assists on 53% shooting in that series.
But against San Antonio, Williams was being guarded by Bowen and that's a pretty major speed mismatch. That had to be part of the reason why he went Michael Jordan on the Spurs in the WCF.
Williams is good but if Baron Davis can hold you to under 39% in a series, you still have room to improve.
Canadians are non-confrontational with authority.
And where did that get him?
Can you get a triple double in a fishing tournament?
good point
I think spurs were letter williams beat then and trying to outrebound them and slow boozer down
