At the Alamondome celebration, Bruce Bowen started to introduce the Spurs' strength coach Mike Brungardt. Brungy was nowhere to be found. Pop looked like he was hiding his face with his cap, then pointed to the back of the Alamodome and said something to Bowen. Then Bruce bumbled his way to saying "There's been a demotion and promotion right today. We just got rid of our old strength coach so that means we are going to turn our strength over to ma' ba' I mean uh Chris White." Then Chris stood and walked over and shook Bruce's hand.

Was this a joke on Brungy or was this an announcement?
