Holy . Just saw the first trailer for Shark Week 2007. It looks like it's going to be intense. They show a shark coming in and opening its mouth right in a diver's face, another clip shows a diver face to face with a tiger shark holding its mouth shut (WTF?!?!?), and another one of a diver holding a great white in open water by its nose.
20th anniversary of Shark Week, how did I know they would do some crazy for this one?

Yep. I've seen photos of him doing that before, so I figured they would have him on for the 20 years thing.
Must say though, I'm not sure who came up with the death wish to hold a tiger shark's mouth shut while swimming face to face.

The guy that swam with the Great White was part of Shark Week in 05 ... There were a lot of people swimming open water with Great Whites.

I can watchany show in the series as many times as it comes on, I dotn know how many times I'd be watching and be in awe
We had a good thread of last year's shark week goin...shark week is the indeed.
Planet Earth is incredible cinematography, I really can't think of anything that has matched it, whether it's do entary or film.

Everybody said a Killer Whale would beat the out of any type of shark. That just ruins it for me. A shark looks mean and nasty, but it's get beat by an adorable looking Free Willy?
well it does suck find it wierd too but killer whales kick ass too soo i mean they got this weak side cuz of sea world and stuff but yeah great whites are kooler

Planet Earth was probably the best thing to come out of Discovery in a long time. After that I'd say Shark Week is always awesome, well mostly always. Right now the only things worth watching are Man vs. Wild, Deadliest Catch, Dirty Jobs, and sometimes Mythbusters (that show seems to pull "myths" out of its ass nowadays.)

The guy's name that does the snorkelling is Andre Hartmann. I searched for a little bit but couldn't find a good 'head on' pic. You may have some luck searching for his name though.

thanks alot hoops and yeah planet earth rocks but i mean is that all the perspectives of earth? i think soo and then the series is over its just soo much eye candy i also watch dirty jobs and mythbuster not so much deadiest catch
