I'll give you one guess.
got curious after reading that "come clean" nonsense of a thread. someone mentioned "mouse," and i thought "why on earth would anyone make that his profile name?"
thus, i put it to you. a lot of you have some non-obvious names (i consider mine pretty obvious in terms of what it means and why i chose it), what's the story behind the nomenclature?
I'll give you one guess.

Funny story. When I was in high school Spanish 1, around Thanksgiving time, we learned the word for turkey. I laughed and told my friend that it sounded like some medieval knight's name. I guess it just stuck.

But without my name being spelled Essay, it would be SASpur which is kinda boring. So...yeah.
well mine is supposed to be the way Charles Barkley says Ginobilis last name. After I made it I kind of realized it was stupid.

It's spelled Brutalise but I cut off the E cause I'm American and we screw up words really well.
It's been my alias for years, it's after the Spurs. They are brutal. And before we became so brutal, it was brutal for us. Each year in the 90s was brutal, and now we are the ones doing the brutality to other teams. /end

my fav spur is/was Manu*. And I'm a sci-fi geek. and manu does crazy ass things on the court ... kinda unbelievable.... like a jedi.
* I say "is/was" because now I seriously can't choose between manu, Tim and bruce.

Spurs because of the Spurs. And bling because of the diamonds in the championship rings. So Spurs=Bling.
SRJ is a short version of my old name on another Spurs forum.
The name was Spurs 2-0, Rockets 2-2, Jazz 0-2. When I joined back then, those were our historic division rivals and their records in NBA Finals play. One realignment and two les later, the full name is rather unnecessary, but I liked the letters together.
