We just have that one day off.
How are they handling that Wednesday holiday where you work? I'm trying to decide what to do next week. As much as I'd enjoy a 5 day weekend we really get behind losing 3 work days...

When I used to work in a regular business, I would hate the Wednesday holidays. It seems like you don't accomplish anything anyway because there's only two days to work before and after.
CC - I say you should just give them the week off with pay
Seriously, I guess just give them 1/2 day off on Tuesday, then Wednesday off.
Emo is just gettign the 4th off.
but he has the 18th thru 20th off late rin the month, so a 5 day weekend there.
CC- i agree with Kori. .. although you;ll be dealing with hangovers thursday, but you would either way so...
I'm coming in to work on Wednesday, no point losing PTO hours for a day in the middle of the week. Just come in, do some paperwork, leave early and still make the firework show in Austin!
I have Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off Cosmic. However, I only got one of those three off from work and the other two were vacation.
I say give them Thursday off.
We are only taking Wed off.
We get Wednesday off but are being encouraged to take the whole week off to "save the company money." The only way it saves money is if they fire your ass shortly thereafter and don't have to write you a check for the four days' vacation pay, so ...

Wednesday is the only paid holiday for me. However, I'm taking PTO for the rest of the week.
working monday through thursday.
Thinkin about taking Friday off.
