From the web site of "l'equipe", french sport newspaper :

- Ian still has to have exams to determine the last of his absence. For the moment, the estimation is at 6 to 8 weeks.

- Spurs staff and french national team's staff are keeping touch to discuss the right decision to make :
if the recovery takes indeed about 6 to 8 weeks, Ian could keep his spot in the french team.
If it takes more than that, he could be placed on the complementary list (a list made of players who are supposed to replace injured players), hoping that his rehab is quick enough for him to be able to replace a potential injured player.
