What's your take on this?
Dead Wrestler's Web Page Was Altered
Investigators are looking into who altered pro wrestler Chris Benoit's Wikipedia entry to mention his wife's death hours before authorities discovered the bodies of the couple and their 7-year-old son. Benoit's Wikipedia entry was altered early Monday to say that the wrestler had missed a match two days earlier because of his wife's death.
I checked and, guess what? You're not a mod. Imagine that...
change the subject much?
whottt is (I cannot imagine why)
Go figure.
Nope. What's your point?
it's not a political thread.
unless you're gonna blame John Edwards for the wikipedia update. or accuse him of using the murder-suicide for political gain.
or you could spin it off on some black guy.
That's your opinion and, unless you're a mod, it doesn't mean .
Not my angle but, see? You're thinking politically.
Would you mind giving your stance on the whole Benoit thing...thanks.
That's my question. Thanks for restating.
Unfortunately, we will never know the whole truth of this horrible matter. That's the sad part. I can't buy the roid rage with everything taking place over three days. I want to know what else Benoit was taking from the toxicology report.
I can say regardless of the autopsy results, I'm of the mind the WWE is not at fault. Someone on another board said something to the effect of "Would the SF Giants be at fault if Barry Bonds did this?" I've got to say no.
You would probably have a better take on this. Fill us in. It's some major bizarre with reports flying in every direction. It's f'ing sad, but what are the accurate details? Are they even close to a conclusion?
Fine, I don't blame the WWE either, but who changed the Wikipedia entry to reflect the death of his wife -- twice, from two different IP addresses (one overseas) -- 13 hours before the discovery of the bodies?
And, who kept deleting the modified entries as soon as they were made?
Interesting questions, don't'cha think?
Yoni, new developments- check out the news sites- (I'm too lazy to link it) The person who did the wikipedia edits has come forward. He said he changed it on hearsay/rumor and then he found out later it was true.
Then the hearsay and rumor preceded police notification by at lease 13 hours. Who knew?
Well they said that Benoit told the WWE that his wife was throwing up blood and he had to miss a scheduled event to be with her. Maybe the speculation grew from there.
Lieberman? There's your political connection Oh Gee!!
No wonder you're not a mod...you would have been like that British Piers guy on "America's Got Talent," who buzzes every act about 3 seconds into their routine.
It'll be interesting to hear the explanation. I hope they don't let the guy who admitted to this get away with the simple excuse that he posted it based on hearsay.
actually, I think that's where Vince McMahon (sp?) is located.
Who (sp?)?
