Acie Law IV last night or do they still need to trade for a PG? Some have said that Acie is more of a shooting guard. Some have said he needs to work on his passing to become a true PG. Others think he is just fine as a PG and will do a good job. There are some that don't think he will be that good of a pro.

Do the Hawks still need to trade for PG or are they fine where they are w/Claxton, Lue, and Law? They drafted another forward in Horford last night, which makes a total of six forwards on their roster? Would they consider trading one of those six for Beno or Barry + whoever?

    Just want your thoughts

Does yet another forward do the Spurs any good? I know some of you dislike Beno, but it doesn't mean he doesn't have value. There's a lot of time before the season starts, so just trading him for a slurpee and a pack of cigarettes before the free agency period starts seems a tad premature.

Acie needs to work on his passing? He can set up his teammates when he needs to, it's just that for A&M he had to score a lot (was our best offensive scorer) in his role as well.

Y'all must have missed him going for 21 points and 15 assists against Texas earlier this year.

He'll average 6-7 APG for the Hawks, maybe more depending on how they use him in the offense.

LMAO at someone thinking the Hawks would prefer to have Beno over him.

I am a huge Aggie fan and was a huge Acie Law fan, but I heard some say on TV and radio as the draft drew nearer that Acie might not make a good pro and that he would not be that good of a PG in the NBA. I hope they are wrong, but wonder what Atlanta is thinking. I thought Atlanta would have did themselves a favor by drafting Conley Jr at the #3.

For Law to be a good/great PG he will need to focus on defense, he is a good scorer and great leader but I question his ability to run a offense and get the ball in the hands of the other scorers.

I guess that's what on the minds of some analysts who thought he'd have trouble making it big in the NBA. He was the go to man at A & M and did a wonderful job. In Atlanta, I doubt he will be the go to man. I think he will be very good, but I am bias.

TIMVP made a great point last night in the chat, that he resembles past point guards that scored well and were clutch....
